NewWestFest kicks off its 21st year today in Fort Collins, with more than 50 bands taking the stage in several venues, including a Kids Music Adventure stage located at the Fort Collins Museum Courtyard on College. Perhaps the most famous musician playing the festival is Academy Award and two-time grammy award winner Melissa Etheridge, who will headline the Mountain Avenue main stage at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday night.
