UPDATED POST on August 22, 2013.
I never used to be much of a classic car enthusiast, but in the last couple years, I’ve found myself attracted to the bubbly exteriors, the meticulous thought out interiors and even the big, gas-guzzling engines.
On Saturday, September 7, 2013 classic car lovers can get their engineers revving in downtown Fort Collins, Colorado at the Nelsen’s Old Town Car Show. Hundreds of hot-rods, vintage cars and classic trucks will be on display in Old Town Square, between Mountain Avenue and Walnut Street.
The show is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the day includes a chance to vote on your favorite cars in categories such as Ladies Choice and Spectators Choice.
In addition to gazing longingly at attractive vehicles, guests at the show can enjoy live music throughout the day. Come out for the cars and stay for entertainment, a beer garden, great dining at surrounding restaurants and other downtown fun.
Want your car in the show? Registration forms are available through the Downtown Business Association by calling (970) 484-6500, or visiting www.DowntownFortCollins.com.
