What to do & where to do it, this weekend in Colorado (Nov. 13-14, 2010)

I apologize for getting this list up late in the day!  It’s been a bit of a crazy week in HeidiTown. The snow may be falling along Colorado’s Front Range, but that doesn’t mean the end of market season. There are several winter markets this weekend, as well art walks, soccer and more. What to do this weekend & where to do it in Colorado (October 2-3, 2010)

As promised here’s a list of weekend events that caught the Mayor’s eye. Again, this is not a calendar of event, just stuff the Mayor thought was worth mentioning. I’m sure there are lots of other fun events happening this weekend. If you know of something, please share it in the comment section. First Friday Art Walks –  An art walk is just the thing to light your creative fire.

Grove of Aspen Trees in Colorado

As most of my loyal readers know HeidiTown is not a calendar of events. It is impossible for me to preview every event going on in Northern Colorado (let alone state wide). If only I could clone myself! I’ve decided to compile a list, every Friday morning, of all the  upcoming weekend events I was unable to preview, but would have liked to preview. Fall in Colorado is fabulous and

15th Annual Doggie Olympics in Fort Collins Colorado

There are several upcoming dog events in Northern Colorado, and being the Mayor of a dog friendly town I decided to write about a few of these unique events. I know first hand that dogs play an important part in many of our lives.   They are often our best friends and sometimes our helpers and healers. These events will be raising money and awareness for the organizations that are
