This year, Summerfest in the Rockies will kick off on July 8, 2011 with Spirits at Sunset. This is a twist on their usual wine tasting event. With a unique new distillery now open in Loveland, as well as a new brewery, the organizers thought it would be fun to highlight these two small businesses. Held annually on the second weekend in July, this year (2011) will be the 5th SummerFest celebration. Held at Civic Center Park/Foote Lagoon in Loveland, Colorado, this community event features a smorgasbord of activities, and always kicks off with a Friday night event to remember. Last Tuesday, we attended a free beer tasting at Pourhouse Bar & Grill in Loveland, Colorado.
