Greeley History Museum from the outside.

I had the opportunity to stop by the Greeley History Museum yesterday after an interesting meeting with the executive director of the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra. The orchestra, like the rest of Greeley, has a rich history and the Greeley History Museum is the place to go for the full story. Current exhibits include a comprehensive look at the 100-year Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra, and the history of Weld County’s many, many

Foote Lagoon Concert Series is just around the corner!

This is one of my favorite events of the summer and because it’s on a Thursday night it doesn’t interfere with my crazy weekend festival schedule. I like lots of things about this festival – the proximity to downtown Loveland, the beautiful setting and the floating stage. The 2011 musical lineup for Loveland’s Foote Lagoon Concert Series has been announced and I’m very excited to see fiddle players on the

“The King & I” is a movie I have cherished since childhood, and after my first experience at the Candlelight watching their production of “Clue,” I was a little concerned. Could they put on such a well-known and well-liked classic? In fact, as a redhead with an Irish grandmother, it’s one of my all-time favorite holidays.  So it seems appropriate, with St. Pat’s just around the corner, that we are welcoming a new *green* sponsor here in town. Rocky Mountain Irish Festival is now an official sponsor of HeidiTown.com,

Where to watch Tour De France in Fort Collins, Colorado

Due to the overwhelming success of my post entitled “Where to watch World Cup in Northern Colorado,” I’ve decided to appease those cyclist fanatics out there –  as it turns out, there are a lot of you. I can ride a bike, but I am not a “cyclist,” however, I do occasionally tune in to the grand daddy of all bike races to check on Lance and revel in the
