New Years Eve is one of those odd holidays where just about any sort of celebration seems to be appropriate as long as there’s plenty of champagne on hand. Some people throw costume parties, others put on classy parties, and some just go out drinking and barely remember the clock striking midnight.
If you live in Northern Colorado there are a few celebrations you can go out and enjoy this New Years Eve.
Fort Collins – 15th Annual First Night

Hit downtown Fort Collins for a night of entertainment at this annual event. This year’s line up features more than 100 performances including live music, dance, magic and theater. Greeley – New Year’s Eve at The Kress

If you read this blog regularly you’ll already know that I am a huge fan of The Kress Cinema & Lounge located at 817 8th Avenue in downtown Greeley. You can read my previous review of this place by going here.
From 9 p.m. to 1 p.m. on December 31st, The Kress will be hosting a New Year’s Eve party complete with music from The Matt Pack, dancing, hors d’oeuvres, Sleepless in Seattle in the theater, a champagne toast at midnight along with the Time Square ball drop on the big screen.
