Win 4 tickets to the Colorado Renaissance Festival

With knights and ladies, sword fights and duals, turkey legs and sausage on a stick, jesters and wandering musicians, the Colorado Renaissance Festival has more fodder for a writer than most events. This festival is partly responsible for the creation of HeidiTown as it is today because it inspired my first festival review back in 2009; prior to this blog becoming exclusively dedicated to writes ups about events, festivals and road trips.

Since then I’ve written about CRF many times, and I’m very excited to be giving away tickets to the event I’ve frequently called the best festival in Colorado. In fact, I’m giving away TWO vouchers, entitling the winners to FOUR adult tickets to the CRF. These vouchers are worth approximately $75.80 each.

I’ve been attending the CRF for a decade and I believe it is fun for the young, the old, people who like to dress up, people who like to look at people who like to dress up, families, couples and friends. I always say, “if you can’t have fun at the Colorado Renaissance Festival, then I’m not sure you are capable of having fun.”

To learn more about the Colorado Renaissance Festival and to discover my tips for making the most of your visit to the realm, go here.

In the meantime, to be entered to win one of two vouchers you must leave a comment below telling me how you discovered HeidiTown and this particular giveaway. Did you hear about it through Facebook? Google+? LinkedIn? Are you a subscriber to the blog? Do you stalk the Mayor of HeidiTown on Twitter?  Just tell me how you landed here today and you’ll be entered into the random drawing for four tickets to CRF.

The two winners will be chosen at random at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 15.

Colorado Renaissance Festival runs from June 11 thru July 31, 2011. The winners will have two weekends left to use these tickets.

Please note: The winners will be contact via email. Make sure you leave me a valid email address. If I am unable to reach you within 48 hours I will contact the runner up.

  64. Hi Mayor!
I found Heiditown while looking for something to do for the weekend last year. Your posting about the Foote Lagoon concerts was a top Google return… click… click… and some more clicks… I found you on Twitter and started stalking and then eventually “liked” you on FB. I’ve also, this is truly stalkerish behavior, noted periodic stories about the furniture side of you in the RH. Sorry if that was creepy!

This particular give away was first brought to my attention via twitter.

Thanks for being a great information source and all the hard, hard, BBQ and Chili Cook-off work you do!

  75. Oops! Got on a little late here to participate in the giveaway but I have been following your blog for some time now and it is a wonderful place to see what’s happening all over Colorado. Kudo Heidi!

Regarding the Renaissance Festival I still have 4 pottery cereal type bowls I love and use every day – purchased there about 4 years ago. What a fun time…great place…creative people that really put you in their world (and out of yours) for the afternoon. A lot of hard work goes into the making of that Festival and it is a gem here in Colorado. Great promotion for them and you! – Jan
