Who doesn’t like a dining event? The Mayor certainly does.
Denver has Denver Restaurant Week, Feb. 26 – March 11, 2011, where diners can enjoy amazing meals all over town for $52.80. For a list of participating restaurants go to www.denver.org.
Starting on March 1, residents of Northern Colorado can enjoy two dining events. First up Great Plates runs March 1-14, 2011. Restaurants around downtown Fort Collins offer unique dinner specials for $25.25. My personal favorite during this two week extravaganza of eating are the pizza and beer deals, but there are so many Great Plates deals it’s hard not to want to try them all.
For a listing of participating restaurants and to see menus visit www.downtownfortcollins.com.
(In celebration of Great Plates, next week the Mayor will be giving away a gift certificate to a fabulous restaurant in Fort Collins – stay tuned!).
Last, but not least, during the entire month of March, on every Thursday, you are invited to Savor Estes Park. This restaurant event celebrates the unique tastes Estes Park has to offer. Here is the most amazing thing about Savor Estes Park, your small meal will cost just $3, and includes a soda, beer or glass of wine. Participants are encouraged to try two to three restaurants each Thursday.
This is a fun and easy way to try multiple restaurants in Northern Colorado’s very own little resort community. Twenty-seven restaurants are participating in this yummy event. To find out what restaurants are participating and to rate each one, visit http://www.enjoyestespark.com/savorestes.php.
A tip from the Mayor: I get my restaurant info from Feasting Fort Collins, the home of Northern Colorado’s premiere food critic.
Thank you to Feasting Fort Collins for letting me be a guest blogger today! Read my guest blog on the site HERE.

Heidi,
Sorry to have to contact you this way. If you could post an article similar to the “Savor Estes Park” article that you posted in March, it would be appreciated. You can cut and paste the text from the link below and use the posted image if possible.
